I just noticed there was an update to install. Came out some time since Sept 25th, 2025 and today, November 17th, 2025.
What was it?
I was hoping to see Swamp's route update, but no such luck (that I could tell).
Day 2 will be done when all of the characters have day 1 done. You'll have to way quite a while

So, I've started your VN, and I'm only on the first chapter, but I thought it might be cool to leave a little review :3
First of all, I really like the characters, they're very realistic. And the use of accents is interesting (I'm French, so reading with accents is complicated, but it helps me improve my English lol).
The fact that Cooper comes to visit a rural area rather than a city gives the VN a touch of originality compared to VNs that take place in cities. โจ
There's just one thing that bothers me, which is that most of the characters I've seen are very skinny. In the sense that I feel like I only see one body type in the VN (and based on the screenshots shown on the itch.io page, this is also the case for other characters).
I don't know if there's an explanation for this or if there's a reason for it but every person is unique. They can be fat, thin, a little muscular. They don't all look the same.
Of course, I'm not saying that the characters look alike (they're not the same species, they don't have the same colours ๐), but that their body types are the same. ^^'
Having a variety of body types is interesting and adds something extra, I think ^^
Despite that, the VN is very enjoyable, I will try to reading all and I can't wait for the other planned routes to be unlocked ^^ ( The hat guy hihihi)

Iโm almost finished catching up with the updates! ๐ Iโve got a real soft spot for southern accents, so Iโm lovinโ it~ ๐ xou do a real good job of keeping the different speech patterns seperate, which I know from experience is a lot of work!

Sorry to ask, I found this VN by accident and I've really enjoyed it so far.
After finishing Chapter 2, is it intentional to return to the main menu? Without any warning? Only later did I see that some routes were already available.
P.S. I'm on Android.

As of right now, it's not set up to connect the Chapter 2 to route choices. I'd like to think that once it's all finished we can connect that better but ATM it's just set up to take you back to the menu to choose your route!

really great game!!! like genuinely!!! i grew up in a place similar to the setting (albeit in bumfuck nowhere WISCONSIN rather than virginia), and the vibes bring a weird nostalgic feeling to me when i read. totally obsessed, will have to sub to the patreon soon!

Hey DroptineArt loving the story so far! Just wanted to point out a bug in the dialogue when Cooper is heading to the BBQ, and is taking pictures of the Old Fox's Barn.
The dialogue/roles get swapped so Cooper is saying the Old Fox's lines, and Old Fox is saying Coopers lines right after Cooper says "Company? No. No, just for me. It's a nice barn, and the sky's so pretty I thought it'd make a nice picture." right after that, Old Fox says "..." followed by what should have been Old Fox, but comes up as Cooper: "Aw, hell. I'm sorry, boy. I thought you was with them Dollar-Duz-It folks."
It continues reversed up until the line "My wife'n I like t' sit'n have our morning coffee..." which is back to being correctly labelled as coming from "Old Fox"

Noticed that scavenger sneak while talking to Nico! I double red it when he said Elisha. Does this mean this is a prequel to scavenger or...?
it's KIND of a prequel! Elisha is one of his sons, yes! i havent yet entirely nailed down if it's ENTIRELY canon that Scavenger actually happens but technically and, at the moment, it is a linear canon future.
Nico's crazy stare this chapter inspired me to reread The Wild King, & I couldn't help but make some fanart. I love the world you're building so much, I can't wait to read more from you. (To anyone who's enjoyed droptine's vns so far, do yourself a favor and read his books & short stories. They're SO underrated & deserve more eyes on them)

A really good start ๐ I love how adventurous and unashamedly horny the VN is ๐ xou also did a stellar job with the accents. Iโve written a few characters with specific inflections and it can be hard to keep up with

Hey I really enjoy meeting all the characters and getting to know them! You guys should totally add a relationship tree to make it clear how they all relate to eachother once you've met them all, considering its a lot to keep track of haha. Also I love the tie in with Scavenger! Very cool!

There was some dialogue that had mismatched names between the Cooper and Wilson during their scene, but I'm sure I won't be the first to say it!

this game, it speaks to me. Lavender my fav color, main character is a fellow jersey boy that lived near NY for commutes then moved down south too. Love the setting and dialogue so much, can't wait for Chapter Two. I am very curious of the driver, no name, married and full detailed art of them, wonder what they're about later ๐
It's too early to meaningfully judge the project, but two things are obvious:
1. This is shaping up to be a rather gross VN for people who are into that sort of stuff. No kink shaming, and I myself don't mind, but I think it wouldn't hurt for the game to throw up a warning screen.
2. The cast is promising to be quite colourful(though it's obvious some characters are meant to be two-dimensional meat puppets while others will meaningfully affect the story.
That said, I sincerely hope the protagonist grows at least a bit of a spine in the future - it's weird to have a pro-active protagonist with an agency who nevertheless plops on his back at the first signs of trouble and lets literally anyone and everyone walk all over him.
